It’s correct that we don’t directly elect our PM in Australia. But the dumping by a party of a first term PM is unprecedented; particularly in this manner. If that party wants to try and rationalize it or ignore public concerns about it, then I hope that will be to their peril. Frankly, I find it deeply disturbing. Note: I care little about the actual parties or politicians involved. It’s the process.
