I’m not into movie/tv celebs; at all. As I fly internationally a lot and I fly first class, I get to see them often. To me they’re just people and the fact that they get to be (themselves mostly) in 10 different movies or so, does not make them worth listening to when they announce on subjects such as science or politics. That is, no more worth listening to than any other non-expert.

All that said, I am very sad today for Sandra Bullock. I’m not a fan. I don’t dislike her; I don’t drool either. But she seems nice enough and seems fairly genuine. She won the Best Actress Academy Award just recently which is the highest award in her profession. What a high that must have been. 

Then comes the news that her husband has been cheating on her; allegedly for about a year. Here is what she said about her husband at the Golden Globe awards.

“You get dressed up in monkey suits, and you sit at a table with people you don’t know. I love you so much, and you’re really hot!,” she told him, and the world, in February.

Wow. An innocent in love. And now she’s had her heart broken. And it’s a pain unlike no other.
