Good Crit, Bad Crit
Last night was the second big critique night in my painting class and it was really disappointing. I painted a stock photo, which it turns out is a cardinal sin so mea culpa. But the rest was just flat, and in a few cases unreasonably harsh (IMHO). The quality of the paintings has declined also. Faux Pas - A F*ckup in French
Towards the end of art class tonight, the instructor asked how you say “you’re welcome” in French? I blurted out “f*ck off.” At least 3 heads shot around with a “what did you say” look! I don’t think they got the humor, and I guess the f-bomb might have been a bit too much… oh well. A faux pas as some would say :-)
